Itinerary

Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo (The Golden Rock Pagoda)-Hpa An-Mawlamyine-Bago-Yangon

Morning transfer to Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) about 160km from Yangon (5/6hours drive), Visit en route traditional spirit shrines and Htauk Kyant War Cemetery of 27000 fallen soldiers of  Second World War. Reach Kimpun Base Camp, trail head to The Upper camp.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant en route.
After that take a truck to Hermit Hill through lightly wooded mountains (about 45 minutes). From the upper truck terminal, 15 minutes walk to the Golden Rock Hotel/ 50 minutes walk to Mountain Top Hotel. Check in Hotel. About 50 mins walk from Golden Rock hotel/ about 15mins walk from Mountain Top to the Kyaikhtiyoe, a huge boulder completely covered with gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff.

Dinner at hotel and overnight at the Hotel.

Breakfast at hotel.                
Morning transfer to to Hpa-an (approx 4 hours  drive). On the way,visit Bayin Nyi cave; images and wall carvings can be seen everywhere inside the cave and then proceed to Kawgoon cave is a natural lime stone cave and measures 200 fts height and 300 fts length.

Lunch at local restaurant.
Check in Hotel and sightseeing tour of Hpa an tour highlight including Kyaikalatt which is small rock hill formed like a wine glass and Lombumni Garden with a thousand Buddha image  at the base of Mt.Zawekabin. Enjoy sunset at  Shweyinmyaw Pagoda (at the bank of Thanlwin river).

Dinner at hotel and over night at the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel and drive to Mawlamyine (takes about 1:30 hour). On the way, visit Kawkathaung Cave and Ruby cave (enshrine numerous Buddha Images).

Lunch at local restaurant.
Check in hotel. Excursion to  Queen Sein Done Monestry; was originally her residence. U Zina Pagoda, U  Kanni Pagoda; the excellent view of the city of Mawlamyine can be seen. Enjoy the sunset at Kyaikthalan Pagoda is the highest  structure in Mawlamyine and stands 150 feet tall on the ridge overlooking the town centre.

Excursion to Katoe kotnet which was a township; timber enterprises, flourished and well-developed in this region under the rule of British administration. Famous timber and steamship entrepreneur U Nar Aout donated and built the masterpiece monasteries, monuments and pagodas which are well preserved pagodas. They remind us of this ancient region which is full of traditional Mon houses and the objects historical interest.

Lunch at local restaurant (Mawlamyine).
After lunch, sightseeing the ancient colonial town and photostop at the churches around the town. Sunset at the viewpoint.

Dinner at hotel and overnight at hotel.

Check out hotel. Depart Mawlamyine through Thaton Mottama road (takes about 8 hours). On the way, visit Zinkyaik Waterfall and Shwesaryan Pagoda (Thahton).

Lunch at local restaurant en route.
On the way visit Ancient Capital of Mon Nationals, Bago (Pegu). Tour highlights includes Shwemawdaw, one of the venerabe pagodas in Myanmar; Shwethalyaung reclining Buddha and four big Buddha Images of KyeikPun Pagoda.
Transfer to hotel for check in.
